Design of the Nurse character
As part of the story, there are several sub-plot characters that the main characters encounter. One of which is the nurse. She is the sexy and curvy creature that tantalizes the the inmates in more ways than one, and then dishes out the pain of medicine. The true essence of naughty and nice!

Design of the secondary character
This is the main character's sidekick help (or hinderance), depending on how you see their progress in the asylum. Many of the key characters in the story are derived around prefixes of an animal, person or object to which 'mad' is the key element. This is the "mad hare" character. He was designed to be a lot like the main character, in the sense that you can't see his mouth. The suit he wears is his calling card, and the colour and movement of it is also a key element to the characters position in the story.
The main character comes across him as he is resident in the room next to our hero. The next scope in his development will be to design some character sheets and pose sheets, to see if the character will work.

Design of the main character
The idea all came about for this story when I saw a character in my head. After some working I managed to get the character down to the way I wanted it. However, the whole point was that you could hardly see his identity. I am still in debate whether he should talk or not. Loving "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" and the way the chief has such a presence even though even though he doesn't speak, I thought that this could all be done without the main character talking. The big issue is now that I am developing the story, the first scene is shot in the psychiatrist's office, and there is a dialogue.
Anyway, this is the design of the main character I did over a year ago, and was the motivation for my friends to encourage me to get on with it. I will post other designs and character studies as the project develops.

Bedlam
Some time ago I had a great idea for a story. It was basically the concept of what would happen to a man if he found himself in a mental asylum and had to get out. That his only goal was to escape the madness, as he believed himself to be sane. What would happen if he finally found that door to the outside world and when he go there...his biggest nightmare became reality!!
